HUIDA HACIA EL CINE
Me he permitido este agudísimo juego de palabras en el título del post para anunciar que, finalmente, ya hay fecha para el estreno en pantalla grande de LA HUIDA, el corto de Víctor Carrey que estuve montando este verano. La cita en cuestión es la noche del viernes 17 al sábado 18 de diciembre, a las 00:30, en el Cine Verdi de Barcelona.
Y como a todos los padres nos gusta alardear de lo guapos que son nuestros hijos, me enorgullece informar de que el primer premio que el corto ha ganado en su periplo por el circuito de festivales ha sido al Mejor Montaje en el Festival de Arona.
GETAWAY TO THE THEATER
The witty pun in the title of this post is due to the fact that a day has finally been chosen for the theater premiere of LA HUIDA (THE GETAWAY), Víctor Carrey's short film that I edited last summer. The event will be held the night of December 17th to 18th, 12:30 AM, at the Verdi Theater in Barcelona.
And just like parents love to talk about how beautiful their children are, I'm glad to inform that now the short has started touring film festivals, the first award it got was Best Editing at the Arona Festival.
